Growth Vouchers are a government programme to assist small businesses to obtain strategic advice.  To be eligible to apply you must:

• have fewer than 50 employees
• have been trading for at least one year
• not have paid for strategic advice in the last three years, and
• be independent (not more than 25% owned by another company).

If you fulfill these criteria you can apply to receive up to £2,000 worth of vouchers to spend on strategic advice in one of the following areas:

• finance and cash flow
• recruiting and developing staff
• improving leadership and management skills
• marketing, attracting and keeping customers
• making the most of digital technology.

You need to be aware that not all applicants will receive the vouchers: it is a random process of allocation.  Also you must match all money spent with your own funds and you must pay for the whole cost up front and then claim the money back.  There is a list of approved suppliers and Canterbury HR is one of them!
